Which Humidor to
buy? Check the following: 1. General construction
and finish.
2. The quality of the hygrometer and the humidification system.
3. How well does the lid close?
4. Does it have a natural cedar lining?
If not, has the inside been sealed?
5. Large Humidors (50 cigars or more): Does it have divider(s)?
6. Larger Humidors (more than 100 cigars): Does it have a tray?

I’ve spoken so often about the pleasure of choice, and particularly selecting the right size cigar for the occasion. To my mind this is even more important than brand or leaf/flavour. In fact in choosing a humidor I’ve sometimes suggested that 2 small ones might be better than one large one. Cigars don’t really liked to be disturbed – akin to “sleeping dogs” it is better to let them lie.
